What is the IB Learner Profile?
The learner profile provides a long-term vision of education. It is a set of ideals that can inspire, motivate and focus the work of schools and teachers, uniting them in a common purpose. The learner profiles is taught beginning in Kindergarten and continues in all grades. The attitudes and attributes of the profile are taught directly through instruction and through modeling the appropriate behaviors. Classroom rules and discipline are built around the IB learner profile. Watch the video to learn more about the attitudes and attributes that make up the learner profile.
